Environmental Scientists do their impression of the Great and Powerful Oz.
Damn freedom of the press, we're out to save the environment, man! Peer review? We don't need no stinkin' peer review. Transparency? If Obama can abandon transparency faster than an agrarian chinese family abandons a female child, then so can scientists, right?
Why should scientists that have been so abysmally wrong year after year about the climate after spending billions of dollars want to stifle inquiry and comment on their work? Could it be because they fear the money train would end? Naw, that couldn't be it, these are men of science, and if history has shown us nothing else, it's that men of science are wholly incapable of being duplicitous or unethical.
