The image below is not mine, it is from the website above(www.dailymarkets.com). It illustrates the absolute raping the state governments are perpetrating per gallon on the consumer.
If you are one of those empty headed morons angry about Exxon pulling down an obscene $10,000,000,000 (at a mere $.02 per gallon) in profit last quarter, then take your head out of your ass and refer to the chart below for some much needed perspective. Are you similarly angered that the state of California pulled down more than 33 times per gallon more profits in the form of taxes than Exxon did?
New York stole more than 32 times worth of profit than Exxon rightfully earned.
Where's the all of the typically self righteous indignant liberal ire over that?
Alaska was the lowest per gallon, but even then it took over14 times more profit per gallon than the actual producer of the gasoline did.
Adding insult to injury, the Fed gets another 18.4 cents for every gallon. While cheap by comparison when you figure California gets 66.1 cents per gallon, it is just more salt in the eye from those in power.
Gas where I live is about $3.85 right now. Over fifty cents of that is taxes. A 15 gallon fillup is donating almost $8 to a state and federal government that is destined to squander it and just take more, more, more...
How in the name of God is this right?
The next time some dreadlocked granola munching Che-fan complains about the evil oil companies, feel free to direct his confused little head over here. I'll deal with him...
I'll cram that Prius and that Green Initiative straight up his ass.
Once again, the above image is not mine, it is from Dailymarkets.com
