A Thing of Pure Beauty - the Kopper's Live Target Frog

By now it's fairly apparent that this blog has morphed into more of a political grudge outlet for me than a fishing blog. But sometimes something so beautiful comes along, that I am moved to tears, and transcend the idiocy the politicians display daily...

Ladies and Fishermen, The Kopper's Live Target Frog.

In what can only be described as a functional piece of fishing art, I present to you my new favorite bait. Bought this morning before work at the local Dick's Sporting Goods, this bait (...pure fishing porn...) patiently sat next to me at my desk as I wasted hour upon hour troubleshooting absolutely meaningless telecommunications problems and entertaining idiotic questions from my inferiors peers.  Thankfully we are both home now and he is in his proper place, nestled snuggly in my FTO tackle box, displacing the far less impressive Spro Bronzeye frog.

Beautifully detailed, and painted in what is my favorite color for any lure (plain yellow with black highlights) I can't wait to twitch this guy across the lily pads and floating scum at my favorite pond, ripping it through the lip of the first poor bass it fools.

Bass Beware.

On a sad note, temps are plummeting and we are supposed to have a mix of snow and rain for the next two days... Damnit... Of course, this I blame the president.
