Big announcement for my fellow fantasy geeks... Only 5 or 6 years after it was supposedly 90% written, George R. R. Martin is finally finishing up A Dance With Dragons. It is to be released 7/12/11.
Don't believe it? I'm not sure I do either, a part of me says to believe when you have a copy in your greedy little hands...But check it out from the horse's mouth.

Now this won't endear me to other prissy PC geeks, but Mr. Martin, you look like hell and you're old. Get crackin' on the end of this series. I don't think Brandon Sanderson can finish it for you. ;)
